Editorial Independence Standards

Editorial Policy

How Global Biz Select maintains rigorous, unbiased, and mathematically verified intelligence for international founders and cross-border businesses.

1. Strict Commercial Independence

Global Biz Select was founded on the principle that business banking and international FX fee comparisons must be purely empirical. We adhere to an absolute separation between editorial evaluation and commercial monetization:

  • Zero Pay-to-Rank: Financial institutions cannot pay for favorable rankings, top-tier recommendations, or exclusion of negative audit findings.
  • Algorithmic Impartiality: The Finder match scores and Calculator fee estimates are determined purely by open mathematical models and verified database records. Affiliate status has zero weighting in any engine.
  • Universal Inclusion: We review and benchmark providers regardless of whether an affiliate partnership exists. If a non-monetized provider offers superior terms for a specific user scenario, our engine ranks them first.

2. Primary-Source Verification Mandate

Secondary reviews, marketing press releases, and LLM generative summaries are strictly barred from serving as verification evidence. Every data point published on this platform must satisfy three criteria:

• Official Documentation: Sourced exclusively from official terms of service, customer fee schedules, regulatory filings, or direct partner bank disclosures.
• Precise Linkage: Bound to a live, publicly accessible official URL with section/heading locator or verbatim excerpt.
• Jurisdiction Specificity: Fees and eligibility rules are verified per operating market (e.g., US LLC pricing is never confused with UK Ltd or Australian entity pricing).

3. Continuous Audit & Freshness SLA

Financial institutions frequently revise foreign exchange spreads, wire handling fees, and eligibility policies without proactive notification. To prevent stale data:

  • 30-Day Automated Audit Cycle: All pricing rules and onboarding criteria are re-verified against official portals on a rolling 30-day cadence.
  • Staleness Disclosures: If any provider data point exceeds 30 days without re-verification, the user interface automatically displays a "Verification Stale" warning badge.
  • Public Verification Log: All corrections, rule updates, and audit runs are permanently documented in our public Data Sources & Verification Log.

4. Correction & Discrepancy Policy

We welcome corrections from users, founders, and financial institutions. If you identify a discrepancy between our published data and current official provider terms:

Please submit the official URL, screenshot or fee schedule PDF link to our editorial desk via our contact page. Discrepancies are investigated, audited, and updated within 48 business hours, with a permanent entry added to the audit log.
